Hi, I'm Mary R or "Doubi."

Young artist in my 20's, I hope to get myself into the art industry and make art that others can see and enjoy. I like making stories and characters to explore ideas and emotions.

I started drawing when I was very young, trying hard to reach the skill level my older siblings were at. (I'd like to say that I achieved and surpassed that.) Using these characters you see in my portfolio I create a little world where I ca explore ideas and go on adventures. A lot of these characters are so old they basically grew up with me.

Sketching is definitely my favorite thing to do. I have so many ideas in my head and it's much easier and faster to get them down that way. I have to force myself into making illustrations sometimes but I enjoy it nonetheless.

Digital Tools: for programs I use Clip Studio Paint EX and Procreate.
